Don’t believe the VC industry hype

Venture Capitalist have an industry association, the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA).  Like all associations they’re paid to represent their trade group’s interest.  And generate propaganda attesting to its wholesome goodness and virginal purity.

A recent NVCA report is a case in point, claiming the industry created 12 million jobs and $3 trillion in revenue. Don’t believe it.  They’re followers, not leaders. “It is the entrepreneurs [YOU!] who fuel the economy, not the venture capitalists or investment bankers.”
